True, I now can stay up-to-date with the activities of kinfolk ... which, for my grandkids, probably creates some angst. Nothing like having one's own grandmother peeping through the windows ! I am working to keep my own "activity reports" to a minimum on Facebook... feeling that to do otherwise would be like sitting on my front lawn, naked. But, blogging can be something different ... a sharing, with substance. Hopefully substance. Like making Stone Soup ... others (the readers) add their veggies and meaty thoughts and soon there is a shared feast. In this case, of ideas. Of "AHA" recognition. A hint of narcissism ? Perhaps. But, everyone who is in some way hungry gets something in their soupbowl. That's not a bad thing.
